Who we are
We are students of school 1347 in Moscow. The aim of our project is to promote ecotourism and to draw people’s attention to environmental problems such as air pollution, preservation of ecosystems, global warming and deforestation.
Why we care
Earth is our home. Forests are lungs of our planet and today they are in danger of extinction. If the forests disappear, life on Earth will disappear too. The process of forests extinction is called deforestation. It leads to such consequences as atmospheric and hydrological changes, biodiversity loss and damage for public health.
What can you do?
Promote ecotourism
Ecotourism involves responsible traveling to natural areas, conserving the environment, and improving the well-being of the local people. It is a good way to make people think about the safety of the world they live in.
Support local green initiatives
Sign petitions, join eco-groups, try to recycle rubbish and find ways of maintaining environmental sustainability. When it comes to ecology, each contribution matters.
Study the biodiversity
Ecotourism is a great opportunity to learn more about different ecosystems and environmental issues. Travel consciously, be friendly to local flora and fauna and try to learn if you can help in any way.
